From Here to Forever: Be Ready

In this sermon, Pastor Keno Smith addresses the importance of spiritual readiness and vigilance in anticipation of the return of the Lord. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians, he emphasizes that the timing of these events remains unknown, urging believers to stay alert and prepared rather than being caught off guard like a thief in the night. He underscores that those who follow the light should not be lulled into complacency or spiritual slumber, but must remain awake and aware of their surroundings.

Pastor Smith further outlines the necessity for believers to maintain sobriety and to be clothed in the armor of faith, hope, and love. He teaches that as children of the day, congregants are called to build one another up and encourage each other in their shared walk. By focusing on the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ, he encourages the congregation to live with purpose and to actively support their community, ensuring they remain steadfast regardless of the uncertainties surrounding the future.
