Unconventional Faith
In this sermon, Pastor Jon Montpetitt defines unconventional faith as the courage to believe in God and pursue assignments that defy logical expectations or traditional approval. Using the biblical examples of Noah, who was called to build an ark without the resources or modern tools to do so, and Peter, who stepped out of a boat to walk on water, he emphasizes that true faith requires separation from comfort zones and the strength to ignore external skepticism or negative opinions from others.
Believers are encouraged to remain faithful and obedient to God's calling, regardless of their current circumstances, age, or lack of resources. He asserts that when God provides a vision, He also provides the guidance and support needed to fulfill it, urging the congregation to stop procrastinating, embrace the impossible assignments given to them, and trust that God will see them through every challenge.
